"Every soul is meant for a certain purpose, and the light of that purpose has been kindled in that soul."
There are three classical paths that people follow in their inner development: the way of the Master, the Saint and the Prophet. There are four elements of orientation of people: Mental, Energetic, Flowing and Solid – corresponding to the elements of air, fire, water and earth.
Together these form twelve classical types, each depending on its own path and orientation and each having its own special qualities. The way these types are ordered offers signposts to show us how to develop according to our own nature.
During the weekend you will be invited to explore:
- Why is there any difficulty in knowing who I am in my soul nature? What might be stopping me from being the whole of who I have the potential to be?
- How can I make use of the Elements Model to help me explore my qualities and the challenges on my path?
- How can the Elemental Archetypes inform, inspire and support my journey through life?
In the process you will have the opportunity for experiential learning about:
- the ways you present yourself in everyday life,
- your personal resonance with the qualities associated with the elements of air, fire, water and earth, across a spectrum running from expressive or outer-oriented to receptive or inner oriented.
- The ideal qualities that reflect the essence of your unique soul nature.
This course is open to therapists, educators, and lay-people alike. You will begin each day with a lecture of 1.5 hours duration introducing the themes of the weekend. For this you will join the main body of students training with CCPE. After a break you will join a small group for the rest of the day. This group will be composed of others on the CPD programme and will be facilitated by a staff member of CCPE.
These groups will provide a mix of teaching, exploration and experiential work that are intended to provide a holistic experience of the subject. All facilitators will be qualified psychotherapists and case material can also be brought and explored through the lens of the transpersonal.
