The Ethics and Complaints Committee is responsible for the management and proper conduct of complaints under the terms of agreed policy and the Complaints Procedures (2019), as amended from time to time.
It aims to support and advise management, staff, students and members on ethical issues and considerations so as to promote the highest standards of practice in the profession, upholding the foundational CCPE’s Core Values and framework of the Code of Ethics.
It engages with UKCP and HIPC on developments of policies and procedures in ethics, grievance and complaint.
It endeavours to keep CCPE policy and procedures under review, to be open to the evolving potential of improvement through experience and learning from casework as well as UKCP and HIPC development.
