This weekend offers an opportunity to explore how our human relationships can both challenge and nourish us, emotionally and spiritually, in the alchemical journey of inner growth and transformation.

We shall be looking at how our relationships can inform and guide us in our transformative processes:

Alchemy of Relationships

  • Helping us know ourselves more clearly
  • connecting to our inner gold, and manifesting our soul purpose
  • expanding our hearts, and becoming more capable of deep connection to other human souls, and
  • connecting to the sacred dimension of the Greater Love that animates us all.

We shall be drawing upon exploration of the qualities both latent and manifest in our relationships, looking through the lens of the Elements Model.

We shall consider:

  • the tension between longing and fear
  • the defensive walls that we build around our hearts to protect us from pain
  • how we project parts of our own inner world onto other people
  • the work of discovering who is really there when we drop our projections
  • the question of commitment
  • nurturing the soul of the other
  • sustaining the vitality of the relationship;
  • the opening of the heart to the Divine

You will begin each day with a lecture of 1.5 hours duration introducing the themes of the weekend.  For this you will join the main body of students training with CCPE. After a break you will join a small group for the rest of the day.  This group will compose of others on the CPD programme and will be facilitated by a staff member of CCPE.

These groups will provide a mix of teaching, exploration and experiential work that are intended to provide a holistic experience of the subject.  All facilitators will be qualified psychotherapists and case material can also be brought and explored through the lens of the transpersonal
