CCPE is offering assessments for psychotherapy to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n
We welcome you to the beginning of the process of an assessment for psychotherapy. Our assessing therapists will aim to help you find support for your concerns. Please read the following information which aims to help you understand the assessment and referral process, including Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n
The Clinic - Adults 18+
\n<\/strong>Anyone wishing to book an appointment with a qualified transpersonal psychotherapist should email\u00a0info@ccpe.org.uk<\/a> or call 020 7266 3006 and request an assessment for therapy.<\/strong> You will then be referred to one of our assessors who will make an appointment with you to speak by video link or in person at CCPE in Little Venice. The assessor will aim to refer you to a qualified psychotherapist who will make the necessary arrangements to hold weekly psychotherapy sessions with you.\u00a0 Assessments are currently at a cost of \u00a360 and weekly sessions can be expected to cost \u00a370 and upwards; you will be able to discuss what you can afford with the assessor.<\/p>\nThe Low-Cost Clinic - Adults 18+
\n<\/strong>Should you wish to be assessed to potentially see a student counsellor\/psychotherapist please email info@ccpe.org.uk<\/a>. The assessment process is the same as the Clinic, but the low-cost assessment is \u00a330 and weekly sessions are charged on a sliding scale, ranging from \u00a335 upwards.<\/p>\nFor the CCPE Clinic and low-cost Clinic all therapy sessions are held once a week for 50 minutes and payment is usually required at the time of the session to the therapist directly.<\/p>\n
Children, adolescents and parents or carers needing support <\/strong>
\nCCPE offers psychotherapy for children and young people from 4 up to 18 years and for parents or carers needing support.\u00a0 If you wish to book an assessment please email\u00a0info@ccpe.org.uk<\/a>\u00a0with your name and phone number, requesting a call back. The initial assessment will be with a fully qualified UKCP registered child psychotherapist and takes place in person at CCPE with the child\/young person and their parent(s) or carer(s) and costs \u00a360.
\nFees for subsequent individual psychotherapy sessions start from \u00a355 upwards, depending on the level of experience of the UKCP registered child psychotherapist. You will be able to discuss with your assessor what you can afford.
\nFor those in financial need, CCPE offers low-cost counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people through the charity FreshSteps. Sessions will be with a trainee on the CCPE master's child psychotherapy training and fees are from \u00a335-50.\u00a0You will be able to discuss with your assessor what you can afford.\u00a0Therapy will take place in person at CCPE and trainees are fully supervised.<\/span><\/p>\nWhether you are considering a training with us or seeking help through psychotherapy, we hope our site answers most of the questions you may have. Since our establishment in 1984, we have grown to be the largest training centre for transpersonal psychotherapy in the UK, offering a range of accredited professional counselling and psychotherapy training programmes with a transpersonal and integrative orientation. We are occupying a\u00a0seven storey Regency building on the banks of the Grand Union Canal in Little Venice, London.<\/p>\n
All our courses are run by staff who are UKCP registered psychotherapists and are committed to sound ethical practice. The courses have no particular affiliations to any dogma, religion or philosophy and are open to all those sincerely interested in the field of counselling and psychotherapy from a spiritual perspective. CCPE promotes equal opportunities for students, clients and staff.<\/p>\n
We also provide clinical services through some 100 practising therapists at CCPE. In addition we run a drop-in centre at The Caravan <\/a>at St. James' Church, Piccadilly. The drop-in offers a core service of listening and emotional support, which can \u2013 by arrangement \u2013 evolve into counselling.<\/p>\n
CCPE is a Member Organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), providing accredited trainings for counsellors and psychotherapists.<\/p>\n
